Botanical art is celebrating 250 years since Sir Joseph Banks landed in Australia and began to draw, list and name the Australian native plants. Our Botanical artists love their challenges of painting and drawing our beautiful plants and trees. Our Monday morning group - Pen, Pencil, Pastel & Paint (4xP) have an online exhibition which showcases the variety of media they use and experiment with. All extremely talented and enjoy the freedom to be able to play, share and try out new techniques each Monday. Owing to the COVID-19 closure, they have had to work on their own but as you can see it hasn't stifled their creativity. They are all, however, looking forward to reconvening once Wallace House…
