FIRST STEPS TO WATERCOLOUR (TESTING THE WATERS) WITH PHIL EGAN

A gentle introduction to traditional watercolour materials and techniques from materials to monochrome to limited palette.
This workshop is designed to introduce to you, and explain the materials needed and some of the basic techniques, to help you have your own watercolour experience and begin your own watercolour journey.
The basic techniques demonstrated and taught include painting: graded and flat washes and tonal landscapes in monochrome by building up sky, background, middle- ground and foreground washes.
