KNIT YOUR WINTER SOCKS

Up level your knitting skills and learn to make your first pair of socks, knitted on circular needles. What you will learn during this workshop will prepare you for knitting any sock pattern in the future.
This workshop is for two Saturdays – June 11 and June 18 – 9am – noon.
Materials to be supplied by each participant (available from Membership Partner ‘Stitch Piece Loop’ in Noosa Junction and other stockists):
- Set of circular needles 3.00 mm (or 2.75 mm if your tension is loose or 3.25 mm if your tension is normally tight), preferably 80 cm in length;
- 100 gm skein of sock wool or 2 balls of 50 gm sock wool.
(Sock wool is wool with 80/20 or 72/25 wool/nylon blend. Most sock wool is 4 ply. You can use acrylic wool, but it will need to be 4 ply. You can purchase pre-patterned wool, if you wish.)
