Time spent at home motivated two of our members to create some charity crafts by using up some of their stored fabrics and yarns. Also NACA often has fabric and yarn donated from various sources and these have also been put to good use.

United Synergies (US) in Tewantin help child protection and youth in need. This organisation envision a future where our communities, families and individuals achieve – a sense of self, a sense of place, a sense of purpose, a sense of belonging.

Wendy Goldsmith and Miggy Mackey were kept busy over the last few weeks of isolation creating and finishing off all these lovely items. US were delighted to receive the five quilts and several knitwear items.

So if any other members have yarn or fabric that needs a good home, please let us know – it will used wisely and given to benefit the underprivileged in our community.
