This is just a taste of of the types of artists you will get to see and meet on May 5 from 8.30am to 4pm. They will be setting up right along the Noosa River on Gympie Terrace. They will have their work on display and some will be working on new items and others will have work for sale. All the artists will be there to answer questions and give tips and hints on their particular genre. All the artists are members of Noosa Arts & Crafts.
Noosa Arts & Crafts is an organisation with over 400 members. We have more than 20 active activity groups covering many arts and crafts – from Beading to Watercolour.
We have regular workshops all year to encourage participants to get involved in arts and crafts. We have seasonal exhibitions and a popular Christmas Sale every year. Each January we have a special 2D art sale.
Noosa Arts & Crafts has a Centre for Creativity at Wallace House, 1 Wallace Drive, Noosaville. Every day apart from Sunday groups meet to share and develop their skills in a friendship and creative environment. There is a fully equipped ceramics area, easels, airy rooms with tables, printmaking equipments and an extensive library.
We are hoping to expend our facility in the future and would welcome any donations to help us. We are a not-for-profit association and we rely on membership fees and tutorial fees to maintain our facility. We are able to offer tax-concession receipts for all donations over $2 and your help would be greatly appreciated. Click here for more details.
