Our Knitting, Spinning and Weaving group is a small group of dedicated knitters, many of whom spin their own yarn. Sylvia Langtree is well-known for her babies’ and children’s sheepskin slippers, many are sold interstate. Other NACA members also knit – Liz Quincey knits for herself and family but also does sample pieces for knitwear designers – some of that work is shown in this exhibition.

During this period of isolation Wendy Goldsmith and Miggy Mackey have kept themselves busy by using up some of the donated yarns and fabrics and making items to donate to United Synergies – a local charity which looks after people in the community who need help.
