Our Ceramic Studio

Our Ceramic Studio (CS) has undergone a major restructure. We have done our homework, research and come to a few important decisions regarding the running of the facility.

In the past, the kiln stacking and unstacking has fallen on just a few members who have given up valuable creative time to keep the ceramic items moving along the firing and glazing.

We reopened on Tuesday May 14 and we will be trialling a weighing system of pricing our wares which falls in line with most of the other local ceramic facilities. A new training program is in progress to make sure there are plenty of ceramic members competent in the kiln shed and glaze room..

This restructure will ensure that CS members have more time to pursue their creativity.

The old adage still applies  – many hands make light work – in a volunteer organisation.
