The House is open again and as well as a fresh coat of paint, we also have a smart new sign over the front door.
Life in the House is slowly getting used to the new way of interacting. We have social distancing rules in place and also the health procedures for entering the House. Our Ceramic Centre remains closed for a while yet as there is still work to do in there. However the rest of the House is slowly coming back to life with a number of groups returning over the last two weeks.
Workshops are planned for the near future – our first one being the return of our Art After Dark program. This workshop is first one is on July 30 – 5.30pm to 9.00pm – $65 our person and our guest tutor is local artist Dale Leach, who is well-known for her colourful and quirky artworks.
Details of all the workshops planned can be found on our website pages and all can be booked and paid for online – PayPal or Direct Deposit – as well as over the phone or in person during office hours..
Our online exhibitions are still showing and many of the artworks are for sale in our online shop. These exhibitions have been invaluable during the House closure as our artists have had the opportunity to showcase their newest paintings.
Our Wattle Studio Shop still has restricted access but some of the items are for sale in the online shop – more will be added soon.
Rest assured, Noosa Arts & Crafts is still thriving and is looking forward to welcoming everyone into our Centre for Creativity as soon as we can.
