Long term member, ceramicist, and creative artist David Gilbert received his well-earned Queensland Award this month for his services to Noosa Arts & Crafts.
Dave is well-known for his brilliant sculptures as well as his creative artworks. He has been a member for many years and has been on the Management Committee several times during his membership. Dave is always willing to help around the House too – hanging paintings, erecting signs, bar duties at exhibitions and many general handyman tasks.
In addition to all this, he is a wonderful human being, always full of fun and has a generous spirit.
