Five intrepid members of the Botanical Art Group explored the Arthur Harold Holt reserve on the North Shore in search of Spring flowers. It was a perfect day and we were all fully equiped with cameras, pads, pencils, paints and wearing hats! One member found a perfect spot and set up her seat and paints to draw the flowers in situ. The rest roamed the path looking for the well hidden wild flowers to photograph. Of the many hundreds of photos taken, here are just a few that survived the cut!
The weary artists revived with a welcome cuppa at the local store. A refreshing end to an interesting morning.
