EVENING ACTIVITY GROUPS

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of this land, the Gubbi Gubbi people and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and culture. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.

EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR EVENING GROUPS

Noosa Shire Arts and Crafts Association (NSACA) is a not for profit community organisation and registered charity established for adult members to share their love and knowledge of arts and crafts.

We have a variety of art and craft groups that are run by volunteers that meet regularly at Wallace House in Noosaville. Most groups require little or no experience to join. Groups include watercolours, oil and acrylics, portraits, botanical art, pastels, life art, quilting, beading and scrapbooking, mosaics, fibre art, Boomerang Bags, book and paper making, print makers, art journaling, creative writing, Haiku, sewing, smocking, embroidery, spinning, knitting, crochet and a large pottery group that offers regular workshops for beginners.

We run regular exhibitions open to the community where members can display and sell their work. We also hold regular weekend workshops which are run by experienced tutors throughout the year.

We provide a creative and social space where like-minded artists and crafters can come together to practice and share their skills.

Evening Groups

At present, we hold groups through the week, generally from 9am to 4pm.

We are looking at expanding our membership by offering those of you who are unable to attend in the day the opportunity to attend an evening group. We are at this stage looking for expressions of interest. We will open up the house for an art group (oils, acrylics, watercolour, drawing and pastels) and a craft group (embroidery, quilting, knitting and crochet). The hours will be 6pm – 9pm.

Please fill out the expression of interest form below.

You can also email us at create@noosaartsandcrafts.org.au; or phone our office between 9am – 1.30pm on 07 5474 1211.

We will contact you once we have the numbers to form a group.
